TRAINING PHILOSOPHY
The process of training should be fun! We strive to use positive reinforcement and correction while working with our athletes. However, our staff will be firm when it comes to the health and safety of athletes participating in this potentially dangerous sport. It is our responsibility to train each athlete in the techniques of tumbling and/or cheerleading and to help them set & achieve individual goals. It is important to remember that each child will progress at a different pace. The following often affects the progress of your student. Natural ability, Attitude, Fear Level, Class Attendance and Student's goals and priorities.
Twist and Shout staff will strive to create in your child:
*Correct technique and advancement
*A responsibility for their training
*A positive self-image
*A good team concept
*A realization that attitude plays an important role in life
*Goal setting and evaluating
Parent involvement is critical for the success of your child. Please strive to have your child on time for class each week and encourage them to put forth 100% effort in their training. We do not recommend coaching or disciplining your child for anything related to class or cheerleading: that is what our staff is here to do for you. Our coaching staff is always eager to discuss your child's training goals and or concerns. However, we ask that you set up an appointment. We are sincerely dedicated to not only your child's athletic training, but also their self-esteem & well being.
